Trade Union Liaison Committee to meet this Thursday

South West Bedfordshire Labour Party will hold a meeting of our Trade Union Liaison Committee this Thursday evening.

The Trade Union Liaison Committee is the coordinating group between the party and its affiliated trade unions in South West Bedfordshire. Any party member who is also a member of a Labour-affiliated union is automatically a member of the liaison committee. The committee's activities are coordinated by its chair, who reports to the constituency party's meetings on a regular basis and serves on the constituency party's executive committee. The elected chair for this year is Phil Crooks, who is an activist for the shopworkers' union Usdaw.

If you want to help rebuild the links between the unions and the party in South West Bedfordshire, come along to the meeting at 8pm this Thursday at the Friends Meeting House on North Street, Leighton Buzzard. Full details can be found here - take a look, and say you'll be there!
