Alex leads train fare protest

Labour’s local East of England MEP, Alex Meyer, joins protest against rail fare price rises at Peterborough rail station on Tuesday, January 3rd.


In 2015 the Tory Transport Secretary Patrick McLaughlin promised to cap train fare rises to inflation. His exact words were: "Over the next five years we will stick to an increase of RPI." This is yet another broken Tory promise.
